Ethann Brown

Bio - My name is Ethann Brown. I am a graduating senior at Negaunee High School, heading to the University of Michigan. Along with making art, I am also interested in biological sciences and hope to pursue both during my college career.

Inspiration - To incorporate Negaunee's rich mining history, I decided to create this window into the past. A ghostly fog reveals an old Iron St. where some of the old buildings are still standing, and the tower of the Mather B Mine breaks through. This is one of the mines that attracted people to this area and continutes to educate growing minds as the current high school. Even though time continues forward, the shadow of the original miners still watches over us, not letting us forget where it all started: our town of Negaunee.
