The City Manager is appointed by the City Council to act as the Chief Administrative Officer. The manager is tasked with supervising all administrative affairs of the City and carrying out the policies formulated by the Council. They are charged with the preservation of the public peace and the health and safety of persons and property and the enforcement of the ordinances of the City, the City Charter and the laws of the State. They keep the Council informed of the condition and needs of the City.
