Housing Commission

Overview:

The Housing Commission consists of a five-member board. The commission is a housing authority that participates in public housing programs under the Department of Housing and Urban Development and MSHDA. The Commission’s duties include the general oversight of facilities under the care of the commission; facilitating in housing programs that provide housing for low-income families; and ability to execute several fiducial activities under their prevue.  The commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00am at the Lakeview Apartments.
