Summer Reading Program

Children age 3 and up can register to participate and pick up a reading log to track the time they spend reading, as well as a free book and kit of his or her choice on or after Monday, June 3, 2024. Every child who completes his or her reading log by Saturday, July 27, will receive a prize.

The program for tweens and teens (grades 5-12) will be similar to the children’s program, but teens can set their own reading goals. Every tween or teen who completes his or her reading log by Saturday, July 27, will receive a prize. There will also be a competition for who reads the most pages, with cool prizes at stake!

Adult patrons may fill out a slip with their name, phone number, and the book or audiobook they read to enter a drawing for a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. The grand prize drawing will take place on Monday, July 29.

For more information, please contact the library in person, or at (906) 475-7700, ext. 18.
