National Novel Writing Month

Want to write a novel, but don't know where to begin?

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), where aspiring authors challenge themselves to write 50,000 words (or a goal they set from themselves) in 30 days. That may sound daunting, but that comes out to 1,667 words per day.

The Negaunee Public Library is inviting all aspiring authors to "come write in" throughout the month. Refreshments will be provided, and librarians are available to help with research. Bring a laptop, or use a public computer (just remember to save your work on a flash drive), and write in a peaceful environment with other aspiring authors. Drop in at anytime, and stay for as long as you wish.

All events are free of charge. Tweens 10+, teens, and adults are welcome to attend.
