Invitation for Bids - Boring/Trenching

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Negaunee Electrical Department at City Hall located at 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, Michigan, 49866 until 1:00pm ET on Thursday, August 3, 2023 for Boring/Trenching.  Bids will be received by the City of Negaunee and addressed to: Negaunee City Clerk, City of Negaunee, P.O. Box 70, 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, MI 49866. Vendors please clearly mark “Boring/Trenching Bid” on the outside envelope of sealed bid.  The Vendors Name and Address shall also be clearly marked on the outside envelope. Bids must be Mailed or Hand-Delivered; email or fax bids will be not be accepted.

The work will consist of providing the Electrical Department with 450 feet of boring and trenching four 6-inch runs of conduit near the intersection of Division Street/Iron Street.  The depth of the proposed conduit will be approximately 4 feet.  The boring/trenching work will be coordinated with Negaunee’s Streetscape project and completed by September 15, 2023.  The City of Negaunee Electrical Department will provide all the materials and conduit.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid or part of a bid.
