 Negaunee, Michigan

 This ADDENDUM NO. 1, issued on March 15th, 2022, is to clarify, modify and/or change the original plans and specifications issued by U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc., and is hereby made a part of the bidding documents.

Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of ADDENDUM No. 1 on the appropriate place on the Bid Form.

A. Specification Bid Form C-410 1. Item #10 and Alternative 10a “Concrete Shallow Patching” of the Bid Form has been revised and is now listed as “Cft” unit quantity.

B. Invitation to Bid 1. The Bid due date has been revised to March 24th, 2022 at 2 PM. Pre-Bid questions will be accepted until March 18th, 2022.

END OF ADDENDUM NO. 1

Sealed bids are solicited for the: Rock Street Retaining Wall Restoration Project for the City of Negaunee, Michigan. The restoration project includes the Removal, Replacement, and  Coating of the 266 foot long Retaining Wall, and approximately 240 feet of Guardrail installation.  All work will be performed in accordance to the American Concrete Institute and the MDOT  2020 Standard Specifications for Construction and Supplemental Specifications. Bids will be  received by the City of Negaunee addressed to: 

until *REVIEW ADDENDUM*, at which time these sealed Bids will be publicly opened  and read aloud at the City Hall. The Contractor is requested to please clearly mark “BID  ENCLOSED, Negaunee Rock Street Retaining Wall Restoration Project” on the outside  envelope of sealed bid. 

The Contract Documents are attached to this posting. A Pre-Bid meeting will not take place for this project however inquiries are to be submitted in writing via email to both:  knancarrow@upea.com & mdaavettila@cityofnegaunee.com and will be accepted until *REVIEW ADDENDUM*

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, award portions of the work, or to reject  any or all bids. Davis Bacon Wage Rates do not apply to the work of this project.
