Invitation to Bid - Hot Water Pressure Washer/Steamer

INVITATION FOR BIDS

 

The City of Negaunee is accepting sealed bids at 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, Michigan, 49866 until 1:00pm ET on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 for Hot Water Pressure Washer / Steamer.  Bids will be received by the City of Negaunee and addressed to: Negaunee City Clerk, City of Negaunee, P.O. Box 70, 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, MI 49866. Bids must be clearly marked “Hot Water Pressure Washer / Steamer” on the outside envelope of sealed bid.

The work will consist of providing, setting up, and performing on-site demonstration / training of a hot water pressure washer / steamer.  The equipment shall be capable of cold weather operation.  Equipment shall be delivered to Negaunee Public Works (600 Cherry Street, Negaunee, MI 49866) on or before June 1, 2022.  Specifications are attached.

Hot Water Pressure Washer / Steamer Bid Specifications

Below are the specifications for a hot water pressure washer / steamer that is self-contained on a trailer with bulk water tank. The specifications are as follows:

Pressure washer/Steamer:

  • 4.5 GPM at 3000 PSI
  • Gasoline 570+cc’s Engine
  • Stainless steel, or at least stainless steel wrapped, oil fired burner
  • Adjustable detergent injector
  • Steaming capable option
  • 5 year heater coil warranty
  • 7 year pump warranty
  • Safety pressure relief valve
  • 50’ high pressure hose
  • Hose adapter to go to external water tank

Trailer Setup:

  • Heavy Duty single axle trailer with 3500 LB rated DOT approved
  • Electric brakes with break away box
  • High pressure hose reel capable of holding 150 ft of high pressure hose
  • Polyethylene 200+ gallon water storage tank
  • 3 way ball valve between water storage tank and pressure washer
  • Wand storage and signage location
  • Lunette ring on tongue
  • Saddle storage box/tool storage box

Cold Weather:

  • Recirculation system

Other:

  • Must include delivery to 600 Cherry Street Negaunee, MI 49866.
