Advertisement for Bids - New Buffalo Sewer Lining Replacement
The City of Negaunee is seeking bids for the construction of the New Buffalo Road Sewer Lining and
Replacement Project that includes the following major items of work:
Sanitary sewer main, sewer lining, manhole lining and road restoration.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

The contract documents may be viewed and downloaded at www.coleman‐engineering.com by selecting
“Bid Information”. Interested parties may view the contract documents at no cost on the website prior
to becoming a plan holder. Downloading and printing the contract documents will require registering
with QuestCDN online (www.questcdn.com). A non‐refundable fee of $22.00 will be charged to
download the contract documents.
Paper copies of the contract documents may be obtained by contacting Coleman Engineering Company.
A non‐refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged for each hard copy set of the contract documents.
To be considered a plan holder for bids, a contractor must purchase the contract documents. Registering
as a plan holder is required for all prime contractors and subcontractors, as plan holders will receive
addenda and other contract document updates via QuestCDN. The plan holders’ list will be available at
www.coleman‐engineering.com.
Sealed bids marked “New Buffalo Road Sewer Lining and Replacement Project” are to be submitted to the

Bids must be received by 1:00 p.m. (local time) on February 2, 2023 at the Negaunee City Hall, 319 West
Case Street, Negaunee, MI 49866. Bids will be publicly opened and read out loud at this time.
The City of Negaunee reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids at its discretion.
No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a bid security payable to the City of Negaunee in an
amount not less than 5% of the base bid.
Prevailing wage rates will not be required for this project.
