Job Opening - Library Program Coordinator

The Negaunee Public Library is looking for an outgoing individual with a strong public service orientation to become the programming librarian, which is a new position. Duties include interacting with and assisting library patrons, developing and implementing new programs, assessing ongoing programs, facilitating patron-driven programs and activities, helping with the summer reading program, and assisting the library director with daily library operations. Pay begins at $15/hour, with a 20 hour/week workload. The library director would appreciate all applicants to submit a proposal for a new program, complete with a budget, as part of their applications.
