Renewable Energy Blocks – Optional purchase of renewable energy
In collaboration with our energy partner WPPI, the City of Negaunee is offering our residents and businesses the opportunity to purchase renewable energy. For $3.00 a month, you can purchase 300 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy that comes from sources in Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa. Below you will find the form to fill out and send in, and any questions may be directed to our utility billing office at 475-7700 extension 17.
Note – this will not reduce your energy usage or bill. This is an optional charge to guarantee at least 300kwh is coming form renewable sources.
