Public Hearing – Commercial Rehabilitation District
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Negaunee, County of Marquette, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, the 8th day of October, 2020, at 7:00 o’clock, p.m., Eastern Standard Time, in the Negaunee Ice Arena, located at 141 Rail Street, Negaunee, Michigan, to consider the establishment of a Commercial Rehabilitation District, pursuant to Act 210 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 2005.
You are being notified of this meeting because you live within the proposed district, this is pursuant to PA 210 of 2005. Please note that several informational pieces have been provided with this letter for your benefit.
The boundaries of the proposed Commercial Rehabilitation District are generally described as follows: Incorporating properties bounded by N Teal Lake Avenue, West Case Street, Rail Street, and Tobin Street, including properties bounded by Rail Street, Cooper Street, Gold Street and Silver Street. Parcels included in the proposed district are those inside the dashed boundary line on the map enclosed.
Copies of the resolution, map, etc. are on file for inspection, located on the City’s website.
At the public hearing, all interested persons desiring to address the City Council will be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the establishment of Commercial Rehabilitation District.
