The Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) is a budgetary tool that identifies and coordinates city-owned capital projects up to six years in the future, through 2024. Capital projects such as road, sewer, water, sidewalks, and facilities over $10,000, or infrastructure to support City-run facilities and programs greater than $3,000 will be included in the plan. The final product of the CIP process will be a plan document that will provide intelligence on future needs and assist City Council members in deliberations around the annual city budget.

City residents and business owners will have an opportunity to learn about the CIP process and provide input on the prioritization of projects and how projects may be included in future annual updates to the plan. Written comments may be submitted to Nate Heffron, City Manager, PO Box 70, Negaunee MI 49866.
