CLOSE-OUT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CDBG BLIGHT ELIMINATION- DOWNTOWN FACADE PROJECT

The City of Negaunee received a Community Development Block Grants for the elimination of blight within the downtown area.  Specifically, funds were made available to two property owners to assist them with making improvements to the facades of their existing businesses: Smarty’s Saloon and Tino’s Bar and Pizza.  The Negaunee City Council will hold a Close-Out Public Hearing on activities associated with the Community Development Block Grant:  MSC 217015-CDF.  The City received $94,735 in federal funds and the property owners were required to provide a match of $94,955.

 

The Close-Out Public Hearing will be held during the regular Negaunee City Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Negaunee Senior Center, 410 Jackson Street, (Tobin Street entrance), Negaunee beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Those wishing to attend are reminded to use the Tobin Street entrance.
