Opening on Planning Commission and local historic district members

The City of Negaunee is looking to replace an open board seat on the Planning Commission. Board applications are here.
The Planning Commission is a quasi-judicial body charged with recommending to the council the boundaries of the various zoning districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein. The Commission also reviews development plans, reviews and approves short-term rental applications, develops the community’s master plan, and assists with the community’s Capital Improvements Plan.
The Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Senior Center.
