Invitation for Bids - Division Lift Station Blasting and Painting

INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Negaunee Sewer Department at City Hall located at 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, Michigan, 49866 until 1:00pm ET on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 for Division Lift Station Blasting and Painting.  Bids will be received by the City of Negaunee and addressed to: Negaunee City Clerk, City of Negaunee, P.O. Box 70, 319 W. Case Street, Negaunee, MI 49866. Contractors please clearly mark “Division Lift Station Blasting and Painting” on the outside envelope of sealed bid.  The Contractors Name and Address shall also be clearly marked on the outside envelope. Bids must be Mailed or Hand-Delivered; email or fax bids will be not be accepted.

Work Location:            Division Lift Station, Negaunee, Michigan

Work Description:      

• The work will consist of abrasive blasting, prime and finish coat per Tnemec coating Lift Station specifications.
• Blasting and coating must include all piping, ceilings & walls, and floors.
• Protection must be provided to all non-paint components, including Gauges, ID Tags, Valve Handles, Light Chains & Conduit.
• Work shall be completed by September 30th 2022.

The successful bidder will provide the City of Negaunee with proof of public liability ($500,000 minimum) and property damage ($500,0000 minimum) insurance to protect the City of Negaunee and any property owners against any and all claims arising out of the performance of the contracted services.
