The
City of Negaunee is announcing the inaugural Jackson
Mine Farmers' Market starting Wednesday,
June 17th, 2009 through September 30th, 2009 at the
Jackson Mine Park located on Tobin Street in downtown
Negaunee. The market will run every Wednesday
between 5pm and 7pm. Local producers will feature
a full line of seasonal
locally grown fresh produce while other vendors will
offer crafted items and various food items for purchase.
The market will also feature demonstrations on fitness
and healthy living for the public, and Project Fresh
coupons and EBT Bridge cards will be accepted.
The
City of Negaunee is also announcing the inaugural
Jackson Mine Flea Market taking place
each Saturday beginning June 13th, 2009 through October
3rd, 2009 at the Jackson Mine Park located on Tobin
Street. The flea market will run each Saturday
morning from 9am until Noon, and will be a way for
you to both buy and sell. Residents from all
over Marquette County will be able to register for
and show up on their Saturday of interest to sell
what they wish. Applications are available from
the Negaunee City Hall front desk and registration
fees are $10.00 per Saturday. Additional fees
apply for tents and/or tables: $5.00 for a tent fee/$2.00
for a table fee. We invite you to browse from
table to table in a search for treasures!
