Jackson
Mine Farmers Market
Begins
May 26th, 2010 Hours: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
The
City of Negaunee is announcing the return of the Jackson
Mine Farmers Market starting Wednesday, May
26th, 2010 through September 26th, 2010 at the Jackson
Mine Park located on Tobin Street in downtown Negaunee.
The market will run every Wednesday between 4:30pm
and 6:30pm. Local producers will feature a full
line of seasonal locally
grown fresh produce while other vendors will offer
crafted items and various food items for purchase.
The market will also feature demonstrations on fitness
and healthy living for the public, and Project Fresh
coupons and EBT Bridge cards will be accepted.
Flea
& Artisans Market
Begins
June 5th, 2010 Hours: 10am to 1pm
The
City of Negaunee is also announcing the return of
the Flea & Artisans Market taking
place each Saturday (except for July 3rd) beginning
June 5th, 2010 at the Jackson Mine Park located on
Tobin Street. The flea market will run each
Saturday morning from 10am until 1pm, and will be
a way for you to both buy and sell. Residents
from all over Marquette County will be able to register
for and show up on their Saturday of interest to sell
what they wish. Applications are available from
the Negaunee City Hall front desk and registration
fees are $10.00 per Saturday. Additional fees
apply for tents and/or tables: $5.00 for a tent fee/$2.00
for a table fee. We invite you to browse from
table to table in a search for treasures!
