The
Negaunee Senior Center, located at 410 Jackson Street,
is a full service center serving the needs of seniors
from the City of Negaunee, Negaunee Township and
Richmond Township. The center provides in-home
services including homemaker aide, chore services,
outreach and case coordination and support.
Other
services include a monthly blood pressure clinic,
monthly foot care clinic, lawyer information and
referral, arthiritis/Parkinson's support groups,
grief support groups, Alzheimer's project, financial
management, educational and informational programs
and the publication of a monthly newsletter.
Recreational activities include congregate meals
on Mondays and Wednesdays, cribbage, pinochle, crafts,
social bingo, monthly birthday parties, yoga and
aerobics.
